Virgenita B. Caro, Nenita I. Prado

This study formulated a causal model of the factors affecting the quality of the doctoral programs in educational management in Region 10, Philippines. Students, faculty, and administrators from nine Higher Education Institutions (HEI) that offer doctoral programs in educational management were the respondents of the study. Three-part questionnaire was used for data collection. Findings reveal that Diverse and Engaged Faculty, Diverse and Engaged Students, Participatory Cultures, Interactive Teaching and Learning, Curriculum, Adequate Resources and Institutional Support were good predictors of program quality. The doctoral programs in educational management programs were of high quality. It is, therefore, recommended that school administration pay serious attention to these five predictors of program quality.
