Alrami Ibrahim, Emile Ibrahim, Christian Faith Pagote, Iharah Jane Flores, Raymund Tanilon

The study assessed the extent of compliance to the Biosafety Level Standards among Medical Technologists of Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro City. The study used the descriptive design. From the findings of the study, it can be said that the Medical Technologists at Northern Mindanao Medical Center highly complied with the guidelines of the Biosafety Level Standard of the laboratory they belong. The highest compliance was observed on the use of mechanical pipetting devices instead of mouth pipetting. The researchers recommend that another study should be conducted not only in determining the extent of compliance of Northern Mindanao Medical Center but also in the different free-standing Laboratories in Cagayan de Oro City.
