Home and School Related Stressors among Teacher Education Students

One duty of the school to students is to make sure that students are provided with an environment conducive for learning. Negative stress is a common problem encountered by students in the school brought about by many factors. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of school related stressors and how these stressors being affected by the moral, financial, and home related stressors. Descriptive correlational research design was used in this study with a total of eighty participants who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. An adapted survey questionnaire was used to gather the needed data. The data that were analyzed using the SPSS revealed that the participants have moderate school related stress and this stress is significantly affected by the moral, financial, and home related stressors experienced by the participants. Conclusions are drawn that financial support, moral support, and home related stressors are significant predictors of school related stress.
