Level of Awareness Among Parents on the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013

The study was focused on  to the level of awareness among parents on Anti-Bullying Act of 2013. The independent variables were limited to age, civil status, educational attainment, gender, monthly income, number of kids in school, place of origin and types of school. The research employed descriptive types of research. The frequency distribution was used to describe the respondents’ personal data and profile. T-test and F-test were used to test the null hypothesis. There are total of one hundred twenty (120) respondents from the different high schools. Majority of the respondents ages 25 to 35 years old, married, college level, females, monthly income of 5,000 to 10,000, has one to two kids in school, residing from urban areas and from public schools. The level of awareness in terms of acts of bullying the respondents yielded rating of partially aware. On the other hand, there is significant difference on the perception of the respondents when they are group according to age, while they yielded the same perception when they are grouped according to civil status, educational attainment, gender, monthly income, number of kids in school, place of origin, and types of school. Generally, the respondents manifest partial awareness on Anti-Bullying Act of 2013.
