4. Description Abstract

The E-Learning System of Liceo de Cagayan University – Grade School Department is a web-based curriculum management system aimed to handle and control delivery of instructor-led online course. The system has four (4) levels of users to handle different system tasks to ensure security and ease of course management. The system as an e-learning solution employs a simple user interface to easily create, manage and track courses. It is designed and developed primarily for several reasons. First, education is delivered in a timely manner. Second, is to reduce paper works. Third, is to provide the students with direct assessment in relation to their performance. Fourth, is to provide parents immediate access to their children’s performance at school. Fifth, is to provide teachers a platform to track and assess student performance. Lastly, is to create a monitoring environment for the administrator.
