Ozamiz City is regarded as the center of commerce and transportation. RoRo transport system in the city is the only means for people to cross the Panguil Bay and is a time- and cost-efficient way of moving both the passengers and goods. With the six RoRo ferries that sail in Ozamiz-Mukas route, it is paramount to conduct an assessment of the quality of services that these ferries provide to passengers. This study aims to assess the transportation services of RoRo in Ozamiz City. A validated researcher-made questionnaire was administered to 200 passengers. The overall findings revealed that the services of RoRo is good in terms of quality, passenger’s accessibility, reliability, safety and security, functionality, information availability and accommodation. However, the specific services for accessibility of toilets, functionality of walk through metal detectors, and accessibility of ferry information online are only average. The departure and arrival time of RoRo in the port is rated good but delays frequently occur due to passenger congestion. The findings of this study may provide input for the shipping management and the Philippine Ports Authority for continuous service improvement to strengthen further the maritime transport system.
