Improvement in the Socioeconomic Conditions of Rebel Returnees After Availment of the Social Integration Program (Sip)

The study assessed the Improvement in the socioeconomic conditions of Rebel Returnees after availment of the Social Integration Program (SIP). The researchers conducted a survey with researcher made questionnaire and administered to 30 respondents in local of Misamis Oriental. This study focused on the three major points: (1) the socioeconomic condition of rebel returnees before and after availing the Social Integration Program (SIP), level of income, access to food, material goods, housing condition, access to employment, access to education, access to public healthcare services; and level of security and safety.( 2 ) the statistical evidence to conclude that the Social Integration Program (SIP) improved the standard of living of the rebel returnees before and after 2 years of availing of the Social Integration Program (SIP). The study found that the Social Integration Program (SIP) has been effective in improving the standard of living of the rebel returnees in all aspects of the components of the program, which covers income, food, material goods, housing condition, employment, education, health care, and security and safety. Hence, there is a statistical difference between the standard of living of the rebel returnees before and after two years of availing the program.
