This study determined the frequency of Communication Pattern and Experiences of Community Residents with Student Nurses in Community Health Nursing Exposure. It is focused on two major points (1) to determined communication patterns demonstrated by nursing students (2) to describe the experiences of community residents with student nurses in community health nursing exposure. In answering these problems, the descriptive research design was used in the study, which utilized the fifty (50) selected people of Casinglot, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. A standardized questionnaire was used to collect the needed data. The data were presented, analyzed, and interpreted through the weighted mean. On the basis of the findings and conclusions, the following recommendations are presented: 1. Workshops and seminars should be conducted for student nurses to further improve the use of the different communication techniques. 2. Communication must be threaded to all levels. 3. A similar study should be conducted using other areas where CHN exposure is being conducted. 4. Implications from the study were to emphasize socialization among students and community residents, clarify and develop the teaching role of the student nurses, help student nurses to adopt teaching strategies with community residents, and share with residents their influence as role models (Attack, et al. 2000).
