The purpose of the study was to determine if the exposure to ionizing radiation can affect the hemoglobin levels of the registered radiologic technologists within Cagayan de Oro City. The study focused on the following: the profiles of the respondents, the hemoglobin level of the subjects and the significant relationship between the subjects’ profile and their corresponding hemoglobin values. In answering the problems, the study used descriptive statistics using the questionnaires the researchers made for data gathering, which was then analyzed based on the data gathered. The obtained results reveal that the profiles of the participants did not affect the level of hemoglobin within their system. The findings imply that the amount of radiation is not sufficient enough to cause any harmful effects to the body.
