The purpose of the study was to determine the information about the impact of treatment on the eradication of Filariasis in Cagayan de Oro City. The study focused on the: the profile of the subjects regarding age, gender and occupation, the impact of medical care for the infected individuals, and the efficacy of treatment  throughout the years. In answering the problems, the study used the descriptive research design employing a researcher-made survey questionnaire for gathering the data, which were analyzed and interpreted using tabulations. The findings reveal that the respondents of the younger age group and those who works in an open field are more prone in acquiring the disease. The medications given to the infected individuals have helped them cope with the disease. The treatment has effectively eradicated and prevented the transmission of Filariasis.
