The purpose of the study was to determine the Lipid Profile of the athletes and non-athletes of Liceo de Cagayan University. The study focused on: whether physical activity affect the lipid profile of an individual, and also whether the age, weight and height can be a significant factor that will also affect the lipid profile of an individual. In answering the problems the study used the descriptive research design employing a researcher-made survey questionnaire for gathering the data, which were analyzed and interpreted using frequency and T-test for two independent observations. Among the athletes who were tested, one of the athletes have shown an above normal cholesterol and triglyceride level and another athlete also showed a slightly below normal cholesterol level. On the other hand, most non-athletes showed a normal lipid profile level. The findings reveal that the age, weight and height do not affect the lipid profile of an individual whether they are physically active or living a sedentary lifestyle.
