This research looks into health and safety measures, specifically the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak on travel behavior among Liceo de Cagayan University students studying Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, and Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management. It aimed to determine the demographic of the respondents in terms of Age, Gender, Course, Year level, Household monthly income, and frequency of travel through a survey questionnaire. Two hundred twenty-nine (229) students participated in this study. Results show that travel behavior during the pandemic altered in terms of mode of transportation and travel distance due to the imposed restrictions and the fear of getting the virus. During the outbreak, public health and social interventions were adopted. Furthermore, monthly family income, public health, and socioeconomic variables are considered, all of which have a substantial impact on the respondents’ travel behavior. COVID-19 altered respondents’ travel habits based on the data obtained. More research was carried out in this study.
