The study focused on the experiences of tourists on the mode of transportation to select destinations in Cagayan de Oro City, namely:Ultra Winds Mountain Resort, Eco Village, Mapawa Nature Park, Macahambus Cave, and Cabula Resort. The study aimed to establish the respondents’ profile, and their pleasant and unpleasant experiences on the mode of transportation. A mixed method was used; both qualitative and quantitative which is a diversity of procedures, including general approaches to data collection, information-gathering techniques and ways of interpreting data. A total of 30 respondents participated in the study. The findings generated from the survey reveal that most of the respondents were unemployed and as well as employed, females, ages 15-45 years old. Respondents were not using air and water transportation instead they were using land transportation and most of them preferred to use private cars than to rent or hire other vehicles because it is safer, accessible, and convenient. The tourists found it hard to find transportation in the area because it is far from the city proper. Some of the tourists were not able to visit since they do not have private vehicles and some respondents suggested there should be a shuttle service to be provided by the owners of the resorts.
