Social Realities in Short Amateur Films and Their Influence on the Viewers

This research discussed the social realities depicted in the select amateur short films of Cinemagis 2016. Using the descriptive method, specifically survey and Focus Group Discussion (FGD), as well as content analysis (Fantasy Theme Analysis), it focused on determining the level of influence of the social realities on the cognitive and affective domains of the viewers especially when they were grouped according to age, gender, religion, and course. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the demographic profile of the participants and the level of influence on the social realities in their cognitive and affective domains.
