Students’ Satisfaction and Quality of Services in Misamis Oriental State College of Agriculture and Technology (MOSCAT)

This study provides the analysis of the level of satisfaction and quality of services provided by MOSCAT on students’ services and the relationship between the quality of service and students’ satisfaction. Data were obtained from 305 randomly selected third year and fourth-year students. The survey research design and the correlational survey was utilized in this study. A semi-structured questionnaire coupled with personal interview served to gather the data.  Means, frequency counts, percentage, and Pearson r correlation analysis were the statistical tools used in the study. Results revealed that students’ were “satisfied with the services rendered by the MOSCAT’S Cashier’s Office, Accounting Office,  Guidance Office,  and Medical and Dental Clinic and moderately satisfied of the services provided by the Cafeteria, Dormitory and Computer Laboratory. The quality of services of the Cashier’s Office, Guidance Office, Accounting Office, Registrar’s Office, Library, and Medical and Dental Office were “very good†while the quality of services from the Cafeteria, Dormitory, and Computer Laboratory was found to be “goodâ€. There is a significant relationship between students’ level of satisfaction and the quality of services rendered by MOSCAT. The study recommends that the MOSCAT administration pursues the enhancement its  services in the Cafeteria, Dormitory and Computer Laboratory.
