One of this is critically endangered, 12 endangered, 23 vulnerable, nine other threatened species, and 61 Philippine endemic species, including two Mindanao endemic.  The critically endangered species is also recorded as Philippine endemic, Shorea astylosa Foxw.  The presence of threatened and endemic species in the study site needs to be given high priority for protection and conservation of its remaining biological resources.
