A Web-Based Event Evaluation System of Liceo De Cagayan University with Short Message Service Notification

University events are continuously evaluated and revised in order to engage student participation. However, paper-based evaluation can be costly and tedious to conduct. With the success of online evaluation systems, it can be a feasible solution to the current method being used in Liceo de Cagayan University. A web-based event evaluation system with short message service notification is developed and implemented for students in Liceo de Cagayan University to evaluate university events. The system is designed to meet the university’s needs. These needs include creating unique evaluation forms for certain activities, generating reliable evaluation reports, and the low cost of developing and maintaining the system. This study discusses the need for such an online event evaluation system. Specifically, this study focused on developing a Web-Based Event Evaluation System with Short Message Service Notification, which may provide an efficient and faster way of evaluating university events. The conclusion from this study shows that the integration of an online evaluation system can provide reliable, timely, and more detailed information while retaining the functionality of the traditional paper-based approach.
