Night Street-Businessmen and Customers Satisfaction of Local Police Services in Cagayan De Oro City

The study was limited to the night streets businessmen and customers. The independent variables are gender, age, religion, type of business, opening time of business and closing time of business. The dependent variables are community work/support, police intervention, local police and aid to victims, local police investigation and detection and maintenance of public order. The study employed various statistical techniques frequency distribution was used to determine and describe the respondents’ personal data profile to specific variables. There are 100 respondents in the study, majority of the respondents are males aged 34 years old, Roman Catholic, College level. The majority of the respondents  sell DVD’s and opens 8:00am and closes at 10-11 pm. The level of satisfaction of local police service in Cagayan de Oro City as perceived by the respondents were all rated satisfied on all of dependent variables identified in the study while there are no significant differences in the satisfaction of police service when they were grouped according to all independent variables identified. Generally, all respondents were satisfied with the service of local police of Cagayan de Oro City.
