Effectiveness of the Philippine National Police Standard Operating Procedure on Checkpoints

The study aimed to assess  the effectiveness  of the Philippine National Police Standard Operating Procedure in the conduct on checkpoints. The independent variables are limited to gender, nature of work, place of residence, number  of  years passing by the  checkpoint, educational attainment  and type of vehicles. The dependent variable is limited to the effectiveness of the Philippine National Police Standard Operating Procedure in the conduct on checkpoints. The research employed the descriptive research design. For the effectiveness of the Standard Operating Procedures, the respondents rated the Philippine National Police conduct as highly effective.  On  the other hand, the respondents manifested no significant difference in their perception when grouped according to gender, place of residence, number of years passing by the checkpoint, educational attainment and types of vehicles. However, they manifested significant difference when they were grouped according to nature of work but with moderately high rating. Generally, the conduct of implementation by the  Philippine National Police Standard Operating Procedures during checkpoints is highly effective.
