The study assessed the effectiveness of Carica papaya latex on Ascaris suum. The objectives of the study were to determine the number of death of Ascaris suum every hour for twelve hours between negative control group and experimental group and to determine the significant difference in the number of death of Ascaris suum among the groups applying the different concentrations of Carica papaya latex (i.e., 100%, 75%, and 50%). The findings revealed that exposure to varied concentration of Carica papaya latex has caused the death of Ascaris suum in in vitro analysis. However, the 100% concentration of Carica papaya latex is more effective because it has caused death to worms at a shorter length of exposure, as compared to the 75% and 50% concentration. It is important to note that the result of the study was excellent only in in vitro analysis and no study was conducted yet using in vivo analysis.
