Conservation, Preservation, and Protection of the Old Catarman Church Ruins

The study attained to present the profile of the respondents in terms of government office/agency, length of service, position and job description; and to determine the conservation, preservation, and protection of the Old Catarman Church Ruins. The study used the qualitative research design. It is a collection methods used to inquire into a problem, issue, question, theory, etc. of interest to a researcher or research team.  Typically, a question or theory, composed of variables, is measured in a systematic way and data are analyzed with statistical procedures. The findings revealed that the Local Government Units of Camiguin strategically conducted the importance of conservation, preservation and protection of the Old Catarman Church ruins to the residents of Camiguin and that they believe that the church will pave way in the preservation of their roots and it will attract tourist and more economic investments in the province. The need to further educate the people the importance of conserving, preserving and protecting ruins which are a part of the province tourist spots to attract foreigners and local tourist to promote the province as a whole.
