E-Police System of Cagayan de Oro City

This study developed an e-police system for Cagayan de Oro police stations to enhance their current system, making it interactive with virtual application that allows the police authority to communicate, search, and do other tasks virtually. This web-based application system serves as a cyber police station that simultaneously enables the police department and the community to interact online with regard public safety and order. Citizens can file or submit their complaints with convenience anywhere whether they are at home, work or anywhere with Internet access. Other important features of this system are the e-Blotter, Book Arrest/Detain, and online criminal database searching. With these features along with the cooperation of Kagayanons, the Police Office of Cagayan de Oro City can better keep the city’s peace and order.
